Further, it would make logical sense for the next Black Ops game to take place during the Gulf War. None of this information has been officially confirmed so far but, given the track record of those supporting these rumors, it would be reasonable for fans to take them seriously. Still, the current rumors provide more than enough information to keep fans discussing and speculating until more information comes down from Treyarch. The fates of characters from Black Ops Cold War like Adler and Perseus are still unknown, which makes it possible that they could make a return.
